Bob's Bio
Pastor Bob Yawberg and his wife, Marilyn completed 60 plus years of pastoral ministry, including over 50 years in Ft. Wayne, IN. Their vision from the Lord led to establishing Broadway Christian Church in downtown Ft. Wayne where they served 23 years.
Bob retired in 1997 from Broadway Church believing retirement should be RELEASED for new service. This led to a vision and the beginning of Pastors In Prayer Ministry which would focus on praying for and mentoring fellow pastors.
In 2021 Bob and Marilyn moved back to Fort Wayne and once again are led to a new release for service. Bob now serves as a "volunteer" to support Johnny's and Kevin's vision and leadership of the ministry. They continue to meet often as they have for over 25 years praying for pastors since the beginning of the PIP ministry. Bob will also continue to write his "Saying Yes To God" blogs that bring encouragement and hope to all who read them.
Bob and Marilyn have been married for 70 years and now reside back home in Fort Wayne, IN. The love of their life includes children, Rhonda (Mark) Allen and Mark (Peggy) Yawberg, two married granddaughters, and four great grandsons.
